Description of precision class of weighing sensor

According to International Recommendation 60 of the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML), weighing sensors can be classified into four levels of accuracy based on their overall performance: Class A, Class B, Class C, and Class D. The upper and lower limits of each grade are specified.

Class of accuracy

A grade

B grade

C grade

D grade

The lower limit

50000

5000

500

100

The upper limit

unlimited

100000

10000

1000

To determine the maximum degree of accuracy of the weighing sensor is expressed in units of 1000.

For example: C3 represents 3000 degrees of C-class weighing sensors.

Sensors used in general trade measurement are required to be C3 rated. That's 3,000 degrees.

Example: a 30t weighing sensor

Assuming its verification fraction is 3000, its verification fraction is 10kg.

Assuming that the sensor meets all the requirements of the national standard under the verification grading of 3000, the level of this sensor is C3.

According to different scenarios and applications, we also need to carefully choose the accuracy of weighing sensors. The accuracy of weighing sensors with different precision will also be different.
